What is your heartbeat? What are the things that you are passionate about improving in the world?

Step 2:

After ((DATE TBA)) , those heartbreaks that have not made it to the next stage will have their students be able to move to other apps. At the current time, there should be no more than 10 students per app without permission from organizers. (Some may have to go over, but not at the beginning.)

When you get a greenlight, that means you're ready to start production of your app. Here's the criteria. Only teachers may choose to green light/ yellow light/ redlight and this is done in their weekly meetings as a group. It also is evaluated by the MAD-Learn app development team to ensure that an app is able to be made.

Green Light

Green lighted schools should: a) select a Project manager (PM) and Assistant Project manager (APM) and any other jobs as you see fit. Please list these on the top of your page. They must be from different schools. b) Work with your teacher to create (communication tool TBA) and invite all team mates and teachers to the board for assigning tasks and work c) emails will be collected and provided to Crescerance for set up (work with your teacher for this), and d) select your app name, start discussing colors, ideas, and logos or select one or two team members to come up with "mock ups" or ideas for logos.

Now, go the last bit and get this ready for green! 3/22/2017 12:52 pm

In Danger of Being Red Lighted - Mad Senior

These teams have some significant issues.
  • Music for Your Daily Life - One Member left? Is this MAD Senior or Junior? The two remaining members are ZAchS-LGM and ColinH-FESS and look like they would make strong members for another group to recruit. 3/17/17
  • Keeping Teenagers Off Drugs IN RED 3/22/17 1:45pm EST

MAD Junior - Yellow Light

BE SURE YOU HAVE JOINED A YELLOW OR GREEN LIGHTED TEAM!

Ready for consideration

Students, when you're ready to be considered for going into production, paste a link to your page here.

Step 1:

In the first step of this project, you'll be creating heartbreak maps and sharing research on your topic. This page will link to the major topics of heartbeats. If you and students from another school have the same heartbeat, you will be sharing your research and artistic creations on the same page. Ask your teacher to add your topic to this page.

TIP: If you click on your topic and it is a new page, please use the Heartbeat Mapping Template and click OK to save it.

NO MORE THAN 5 per school may be on a team. Individual teachers may have rules such as no more than 2 students per class period. No team is larger than 14 but you need 10. You can recruit by leaving messages at the bottom..

After students have conducted research and started to formulate teams, each team will be evaluated as follows. When your team has 10 students (from at least 2 different schools, let your teacher know. The teachers will review to make sure that it meets the qualifications to move to the next round of work: app ideation and development. The teachers will link the Phase 1 Heartbreaks below when it is "official." Feel free to join any app.

Heartbeat Mapping List - MAD Seniors

All of the pages have been moved to green, yellow or red light. Look here.

Can't find what you're looking for? If you can't find your page, just use Ctrl + F on your keyboard and use the find feature. Type in the name of your page and it will help you find it.

Heartbeat Mapping List - MAD Juniors

NOTE to STUDENTS: If someone has an idea you like, JOIN THEIR TEAM. Right now, we're seeing too many students work alone. You can recruit other kids to join (see what mad seniors are doing above). Also, sign your name to the team where you want to join.

How does Heartbeat Mapping Work?

Students from different schools are connecting about a heartbeat. As we move through heartbeat we must see at least 10 students FROM DIFFERENT SCHOOLS on a heartbreak to move forward. So, you not only have to explain the heartbeat but you have to recruit other students to join with you to work on a heartbeat. Share your ideas. Talk to your teacher about specific rules relating to heartbeats. You may choose to leave a team until you go into production.

Step 2: Green Light/ Yellow Light / Red Light

After students have conducted research and started to formulate teams, each team will be evaluated as follows.
